Registrations for CS 1.6 Teams suspended

BabyToss6th September 2011 at 19:20
We've already reached the limit for CS 1.6 teams because of massive interest from the community. In the light of that, we are temporarily suspending payments for the seats for CS 1.6 teams.

19 teams have already paid (fully or partially). There are more payments on their way to us, which is why we are reserving the last slot for these payments.

To all teams, which paid only partially for their members - you need to pay up the rest of the entry fee until 15th September 2011. In case your payment is not delivered in due time, it is possible your slot might be forfeited in favour of another team.

Increase of maximum capacity

Because of your incredible interest in LanCraft we've increased the capacity for CS 1.6 teams for 2 more slots. These two slots are also to cover for payments which are already on their way to us.

It'll be decided if and how many slots will be moved from League of Legends League of Legends by the end of week, following by another capacity increasing for Counter-Strike 1.6 Counter-Strike 1.6 players.

How to make a reservation for new teams

  1. Register all your players on LanCraft Autumn 2011
  2. Send an e-mail to lukas.vobecky@lancraft.cz with note that you are interested in slot in CS 1.6 tournament.
  3. We will contact those interested as their requests arrive once the capacity is risen again. They will have 1 week for sending in the payment for entry fee. If the payment is not send in due time, their place will be offered to the team next in queue.

Note: Teams, which won't have all teams registered will not be accepted as potential participants.

Increase of Prize-money

In the light of all changes mentioned above, the increase of the prizes in CS 1.6 5vs5 tournament follows up:

  • 1st place 8.000 CZK
  • 2nd place 4.000 CZK
  • 3rd place 3.000 CZK

Tournament Prizes - First glance

BabyToss11th August 2011 at 19:20
It is a custom to compete for prize-money on LanCraft. Let's check what the first incentive for both CS 1.6 and LoL teams is.

Counter-Strike 1.6 Counter-Strike 1.6:

  • 1st place: 5.000 CZK
  • 2nd place: 3.000 CZK
  • 3rd place: 2.000 CZK

League of Legends League of Legends:

  • 1st place: 5.000 CZK
  • 2nd place: 3.000 CZK
  • 3rd place: 2.000 CZK
We expect 16 teams to participate in both tournaments. The prize-money might decrease in case there's lesser participation in either of the tournaments.

Capacity informations

BabyToss10th August 2011 at 17:20
Even this time -  the capacity for every game is limited.

Each of the games, Counter-Strike 1.6 Counter-Strike 1.6 and League of Legends League of Legends has limited their capacity to 80 players - which contains 16 slots for 5-member teams. We are well aware that the community is much bigger than that, so we made a simple rule - first come, first served.

The registrations are freely open up to 12 teams in every game. After that point, we will carefuly observe those who register next and it will come down to necessary Registration fee payment in order to secure a slot on the lanparty.

We reserve to adjust the number of slots, in case there is either bigger or lesser interest in respective games. Also, we are well-prepared to increase the capacity from current 160 players upon need.

Current status of registered teams:

  • Counter-Strike 1.6 Counter-Strike 1.6: 2 teams
  • League of Legends League of Legends: 4 teams
