STARCRAFT II: WINGS OF LIBERTY

Tournament admin

General rules 

  • no insulting, no offences 
  • each player has to have the original copy of StarCraft2: Wings of Liberty
  • players are obligated to watch the tournament process and they have to be ready to match in time
  • failure to come to match in time or pointless delaying of game flow might lead to contumacy
  • before starting the game (in lobby), players have to express clearly they are ready to start
  • using any supportive programs that give any advantage upon a player, hacks and so on are strictly prohibited
  • in debatable situations, which cannot be solved by players themselves, the admin has to make the last decision
  • refusing of admin´s decision might lead to auto lose of match or disqualification from the tournament
  • rules chaning is reserved, unfamiliarity with rules is no excuse
  • disobeying rules by player or team might lead to punishment or disqualification from the tournamet

1v1 main tournament

Game system 
  • players will be distributed by lots to 16 groups by 4 players, playing by BO3 system (2 wins) each to each
  • the best two from each group (32 players) will proceed to playoff - also BO3 system double elimination (FDE)
  • grand finals is BO5 (3 wins), player from the winner bracket has the advantage of winning 1:0

  • Mode: 1v1
  • Game Speed: Faster

2v2 attendant tournament

Game style
  • the teams will be distributed by lots to this tournament, which will be played by double elimination (FDE)
  • matches in BO3 mode (2 wins) including grand finals, where the player coming from the winner bracket is leading 1:0
Game settings
  • Category: Melee
  • Mode: 2v2
  • Game Speed: Faster
Maps

Pausing the game 

  • if a player unexpectedly leaves the game (in case of game crush) and less than 4 minutes of the match had been played, match restart must follow
  • in restarted match, players must play with the same race as in previous game
  • if a player drops after this time period and players cannot agree with match restart, admin decides
  • if a player pauses the game, he has to have serious reason to do so and he has to announce estimated time of the pause
  • before resuming the game, players must express themselves they are ready to go on

Replays

  • everyone has to save replays from each tourney game and he has to fetch them to admin on request

Observers

  • game obsing is allowed only if everyone involved  agrees. This rule will not be applied to admins and commentators, they are always free to watch

Communication

  • for communication the LANCRAFT battlenet channel will be used
  • direct your questions to tournament admin
