Rules Summer 2010 in Czech/Slovak Language
Tournament system
- 1st stage - lining up on one randomly chosen map in Time Attack mode till 10min
- 2nd stage - depending on placing from the first stage players will be seed to 4 man groups, which they will fight in Cup mode until reach of 120 point, always in tree maps, each 5 rounds. In WB only 2 players continue and the rest of players drop down do LB. In LB it is similar, but the two worse players are off from the whole tournament and the best 2 continue. In the Grand finals the first one will gain +10 points jump, and the second one +6 points jump (solving issue when one round will be "unfeigned"
General rules
- used SW will be the most recent update of the game
TrackMania Nations Forever - every player is responsible for himself and will bear responsibility for all communications done with admins
- every players is responsible for watching websites and schedule. Matches will not be postponed because of non presence of players
- every player is obligated to use same nickname during whole tournament (does not include clan tag)
- every person involving in the tournament has to know the rules and has to agree with them, for appropriate unfamiliarity with rules will not be considered
Settings and ingame rules
- view: free to choose
- audio: free to choose
- if a player has technical problems during a tournament (for examples with HW, SW, server issues etc), he should immediately contact admin - in the end of the round admin can announce time-out (break), which can take until problem will not be solved
- the time-out (pause) can be announced only by admin - every other announcement of the break can be penalized
System
- details level: free to choose
- minimum of enemies: free to choose
- driver settings: free to choose
- adjusting configuration behind boundaries of these settings is not allowed, changes going to unfair game will be penalized
- if you are not sure if doing the right way, contact an admin
Match and warm-up
- before every match there should be 5 min long warm-up which can be used for setting to warm-up
- ingame warm-ups before every new map will be yet considered
Server failures, internet disconnections or electricity outages
- if the connection between players during a match is dropped, players have to pause the game until all players will not be able to connect again and able to play the rest of the round
- if no points are restored to player that connected back again, admin will count those points in
- players who drops from server on purpose will be banned from the match (for example restart PC on purpose, sign out from the game)
Fair-play
- it is not allowed to offence, insult or manipulate with a player or admin or make a damage on other possession
- it will not be tolerated if players will help to their teammates or friends to slowing on purpose or stopping on purpose on the final line - this is consider as cheating and will be punished
- it is prohibited to destroy possession of the managers, partners or other attendants of the tournament
- during the match do not sound repeatedly - this is because fair-play and the breach will be punished
In an effort to ensure smooth process of the match, we recommend all players to show fair and correct behaving.
Punishments and disqualifications
- if rules are broken, admin can decide to punish according to his decision
- punishments can be following:
- warning
- round penalty (player will not be able to finish last round)
- match penalty (players will not be able to attend match and he will be on the last place)
- disqualification from a tournament
- punishments depend on the level of breaking and on decision of the admin
- disqualification can be decided on case with one voice after discussion with all admins and can lead to the ban valid for next tournaments organized by the organizer
Match rules
- every change of the map means 1 warm-up
- TimeAttack seeding: TimeAttack, time 10 min, 1 map
- play-off: (upper bracket/lower bracket/consolidation-finals/grand final): Rounds mode, maximum points/map 40, 3 maps
- settings will be decided by admins - the aim is to have the most ravishing matches and to enjoy the most of the fun
- server settings can be changed
Point system
- 10 points - 1st place
- 6 points - 2nd place
- 4 points - 3rd place
- 3 points - 4th place
If player doesn't finish a round, he will not get any points.
Announcing of results
- all result have to be announced to admin immediately after the match
- players have to be able to provide screenshots of the score
Players take responsibility for their computer peripherals and software.
Rules can be changed.
