Information - LanCraft RTS Summer 2k9 | LanCraft.cz

LanCraft RTS Summer 2k9 is a LAN party consisting of main tournaments in following strategic games: StarCraft: Brood War, WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne and Defense of the Ancients as well as many other supporting tourneys. The LAN party number fourteen is going to be held again in Rymarov, precisely in August 2009 as it has become a six years old tradition (see history).

PRIZES

Winnings for each tournament are dependent on the number of its participants. Cash prizes included. Expected prizes for the main tournaments are mentioned further in the text.

REFRESHMENT

Rymarov House of Culture offers its own snack-bar. If the menu is not good enough for you, you can visit neighboring groceries or the nearby pizzeria Karolina that is opened even after midnight when the LAN party takes place. Rymarov also offers some cosy pubs, where you can sate your hunger and thirst, and discotheque.

MISCELLANEOUS

Players should not forget their own control devices (mouse, mouse pad, keyboard) and headphones (speakers not allowed). Every BYOC player is allowed to plug in up to two cords into electricity and should have network card installed. Before any computer is connected to the local network, an entrusted admin runs the anti-virus and malware test on it. If you did the test up to week ago and have log saved, you will be allowed to access local network instantly. All visitors are allowed to stay overnight and sleep in the sleeping area, however, they are expected to bring their own sleeping-bags.

Every single participant should be aware of the fact, that the organizers are not responsible for the illegal software found in the computers belonging to the visitors. Organizers are not liable for any thefts, losses or injuries.
