• Where is the LAN party LanCraft Summer 2k7 held and how can I get there?
• The LAN party takes place in the Czech Republic in the small town Rymarov situated at the foot of the mountains Jeseniky (northwest of the country). For more information about how to get there check section Place of Event.
• When is the LAN party held?
• LAN Party takes place from 7th September to 9th September 2007.
• How many players are expected to come to LanCraft Summer 2k7?
• Of course, we cannot exactly say how many players will be there. Anyway if we look to the history of this traditional event, there were approximately 80 players for StarCraft: Brood War and about 30 players for WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne.
• Does it pay off to bring my own computer? Should I worry about viruses?
• Absolutely. You save your money at the entrance fee and moreover you will be able to spend the time inbetween tournament matches by playing games of your own choice with the others. And the last but not least advantage lies in the free anti-virus scan run on your computer .
• Can I borrow a monitor straight on the spot?
• Yes, but the number of them is not infinite so it is good to announce it beforehand. You can do so by posting your request on the forum (the topic is called "Monitor Booking").
• I have never been to Rymarov in that season. How is the weather there?
• Regarding the geographical location there are quite stiff winter lasting long. That is why we recommend to bring warmer clothes not to be freezing there. Although you cannot worry about the pleasant temperature in the gaming/sleeping area, we think that a warm sweater/pullover always comes in handy especially when you decide to visit the surroundings.
