- The LAN party takes place in the Czech Republic in the small town Rymarov situated at the foot of the mountains Jeseniky (northwest of the country). For more information about how to get there check section Place of Event.
- When is the LAN party held?
- LanCraft Summer 2k8 is held from 21st to 24th August 2008.
- How many players are expected to come to LanCraft Summer 2k8?
- This question will be answered by the players themeselves when LanCraft starts. According to the previous tours we can expect about 30
StarCraft: Brood War players and the same number for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and 
Defense of the Ancients. - Does it pay off to bring my own computer? Should I worry about viruses?
- Absolutely. You save your money at the entrance fee and moreover you will be able to spend the time inbetween tournament matches by playing games of your own choice with the others. And the last but not least advantage lies in the free anti-virus scan run on your computer
. - Can I borrow a monitor straight on the spot?
- Yes, but the number of them is not infinite so it is good to announce it beforehand. You can do so by posting your request on the forum (the topic is called "Monitor Booking").
- Will I have access to a computer if I do not bring my own??
- Yes, but only for tournament matches. Further access is not guaranteed by organizers and you have to arrange that with other visitors on your own.
